Symbolism=
The music box quit playing it’s sad song. Could be because Lucy is dead, or could be because the horror story is over. Could be because Kohta is fixing to die. In a positive light, it could mean that the cast is working towards a future untethered by the sadness of the past, see that how ever you may as that could mean the=at they’re through mourning or that there’s no need.
The fixed clock could represent that Kohta’s mind is whole again, or the Lucy’s is, or both. Could also represent that Kohta’s borrowed time is up, weither life-time or time spent waiting. It could represent Lucy’s attempts to fix the world finally worked, be it that she’s returned to a happy world or that an attack on humanity was soon to begin.
The title, “No Return”. Could be that Lucy’s not coming back or that the horror will never return to Kohta.
However impossible or grim evidence points to the opposite, I humbly believe that either Lucy lived or that her race is becoming increacingly prohuman and is seeking Kohta for shelter. However, this series is all about showing you innosence and then showing you what innocentce’s guts look like.
